Mindfulness in Nature
This five-hour course explores the intersection of mindfulness, traditional ecological knowledge (TEK) from Indigenous communities, and the practice of Shinrin Yoku (forest bathing).Â
Participants will learn to deepen their connection to nature, enhance their well-being, and understand the ecological wisdom of Indigenous cultures as we:
Connect with traditional ecological knowledge from Indigenous communities.
Experience the art of Shinrin Yoku.
Discover personal mindfulness practices in natural settings.
Develop a deeper connection through ecological stewardship.
Plan personal mindfulness routines that incorporate these practices.
